Senior AAP leader and Delhi Health Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj hit out at the Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena on Tuesday for protecting the Health Secretary Dr SB Deepak Kumar, who he claims has been missing since the fire engulfed a private neonatal private hospital in Delhi’s Vivek Vihar and claimed the lives of seven newborn.
Bharadwaj said, “It has been four days since the accident and the Health Secretary is missing. Even after repeated phone calls, messages and emails, there is no response from the Health Secretary.”
He said that LG Saxena did not refrain from politics even on the death of innocent children.
“Officers who do not follow orders, stop free treatment, stop free medicine, stop the work of the public, the LG protects them,” he said, while taking a dig at the LG for not taking any action against the Health Secretary.
