Following intelligence reports the security of Bengal Governor CV Anand Bose has been upgraded to Z+ category.
The Governor earlier enjoyed Z category security. However following intelligence reports that his security was under threat the Ministry of Home Affaris upgraded to Z+ security sources said adding the Governor would now be protected by the personnel of Central Armed Police Force (CAPF).
A retired IAS officer of 1977 batch, Bose was appointed as the State Governor in November last year following the promotion of former Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar as the Vice President of India.
