Bengal CM loses cool, after 'sala' uses 'bamboo' to humble opponents

Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee who had often wanted to develop cottage industry as a viable alternative to largescale units on Thursday discovered yet another use of “bamboo” which, according to her, is a good weapon to humble the opponents with “unguarded rear”.

With chit fund scam fast turning out to be her Achilles’ Heels and with the BJP growing faster in the State, the CM lost her cool on Thursday using slangs and inviting flak from the Opposition.

Attacking the Opposition and the media from a meeting in North Bengal, Banerjee wondered why “some people who have no work are trying to give bamboo behind us” adding that one day they will find the same bamboos chasing them.
