AP CM predicts early lok Sabha polls

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party president Chandrababu Naidu is expecting an early poll for next Parliament in December 2018 rather March 2019. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP president Amit Shah would prefer advancement of lok Sabha elections to gain political benefit another term as the  public are favouring Modi, he believes.

Naidu had commented in his recent Press conference held after Nandyal win that “We may not surprise  if  Prime Minister  prefers advance elections”. There are umpteen chances for early elections, he clarified categorically to a query.

Without relaxing with the results of Nandyal Assembly constituency and Kakinada Municipal Corporation, Naidu plunged into political and governance strategies to win again both lok Sabha and Assembly elections scheduled in 2019.

He convened an internal party coordination meeting with important leaders to discuss about future political strategy.

He suggested his party men to be ready for election fight alone even if the BJP and Janasena chief and Film Star Pawan Kalyan do not support TDP for their independent benefits.

Naidu felt Modi and Amit Shah would prefer ally with TDP only as they need a strong friend in South India.

“No doubt, YSRCP contest in Nandyal and neutral stand of Janasena Pawan Kalyan was a political conspiracy. Actually, bifurcation of erstwhile  Andhra Pradesh in 2014 was also a big conspiracy.

The ruling party at that time in New Delhi wanted to wipe out TDP in Telangana and AP having back door political tie-up with the TRS and the YSRCP. But  they could not achieve their  expected results in Andhra Pradesh. People of Andhra stood behind the TDP and proved their draconian political strategy was wrong. Also, now, unseen political conspiracies are on to marginalise TDP in AP,” said the Chief Minister.

“The YSRCP contested in Nandyal against  the  spirit and political ethics. Whether we go with the BJP, Janasena or not, is a different subject. We will think at an appropriate time about alliances. Be ready for any political eventuality. Prepare the party cadre accordingly,” Naidu had reported told party workers.

Naidu is neither much bothered nor focused on revamping and expansion of central cabinet. He has  already put his focus on December 2018  or March 2019 lok Sabha elections and started ground work to strengthen his party and drawn a roadmap for the same.

The Chief Minister identified a Six-Point Formula for 2019 agenda apart from construction of New Capital of the State, Amaravati and implementation of various welfare schemes.

His first and foremost focus in the agenda is Water Security for All through an Integrated Network (100% Drinking Water  to rural areas  and Irrigation Water  to drought prone areas), Education (through Digital and Advanced Technologies), Employment (New Industries in different segments apart from Electronics and IT Companies plus Rs 2,000  stipend to educated unemployee graduates), Health, Roads & Housing (Rural and Urban network) and finally Real Time Good Governance (Transparent and Corruption free)  with the help of  new IT  Technologies.

“The Chief  Minister is focused on water, education, employment, roads, housing as well as good governance and welfare schemes. He is using 1100 toll free number created in Grievance and Call Centre. Every day 10 lakh citizens get calls from Call Centre and will take feed back on implementation of every Government programme and corruption. On received complaints he  is taking immediate  action and trying to correct the lapses coming up in implementation of government schemes,” Special Chief Secretary Satish Chandra told The Pioneer.
