“The event aims to help ignite and strengthen the sense of social responsibility among women particularly young girls who will have direct connect with policy makers, leaders and other women of eminence about grass root challenges being faced by their brethren in the country,” said M Renuka, coordinator of the NWP, here at a press conference.

She was flanked by AP Women and Child Minister P Sujata and MPs like K Geeta and lakshmi Seetharama (AP), Moon Moon Sen and Dr Mamtaz Sanghamita (WB) and Ramadevi (Bihar).

The NWP is a non-political platform for women from diverse background like politics, education, sports, industry, media, cinema, arts and culture, judiciary and young aspiring girl students to share their experiences and knowledge in the area of women’s social economic and political empowerment, summed up T Srinivas Rao, OSD to the State CM (Media Affairs).
