All India Executive Council meeting of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has targeted the left Front Government in Kerala and the Mamata Banerjee Government in West Bengal for “attacks on Hindus” and warned against appeasing the minority communities at the cost of the majority.
The three day Akhil Bharatiya Karyakari Mandal meeting, which began at Annujiguda near Hyderabad on Sunday under the chairmanship of Bhayyaji Joshi, General Secretary of RSS discussed the over all situation of the country and specially the incidents of attacks on RSS cadres by the communists in Kerala and attacks on Hindus by “Jehadi elements” in West Bengal among other issues.
BJP National President Amit Shah is among the top leaders participating in the discussions at the meeting which had various issues including religious and cultural awareness and strengthening of the front organisations of RSS. Amit Shah arrived in Hyderabad on Monday morning and he will attend the meetings over the next two days which was also expected to focus on the greater coordination between the BJP and the RSS.
RSS Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat formally opened the three day event which was being attended by 400 delegates from all over the country.
RSS Joint General Secretary Bhagaiah told the media persons at the sidelines of the event that the meeting will have a detailed discussions on “politically motivated” murders by the communists in Kerala and also on the attack on Hindus in West Bengal during the recent Durga Puja. He also expressed concern over the killing of the workers of other Hindu organisations in Tamil Naud and said that the meeting will pass a resolution condemning all these incidents.
He pointed out that the Kolkatta High Court had recently criticised the Mamata Bannerji government for imposing restrictions on the immersion of Durga idols.
On the situation in Kerala, he said, “intolerant communists specially the CPI (M) cadre in Kerala under the leaderhship of the Chief Minister Pinnarayi Vijayan have been indulging in politically motivated murders of Hindus, particularly RSS and BJP workers and damaging their properties”, he said.
