BJP president Amit Shah, along with other senior leaders of the party, on Friday had lunch at the house of a Dalit party worker here. Shah had lunch with the Dalit worker's family here on the last day of his three-day visit to Haryana.

"Had lunch at our party worker Tarawati Devi's place. I thank her and her family for playing host," Shah tweeted later sharing the pictures as well.

The BJP chief was accompanied by Chief Minister Manohar lal Khattar, Haryana ministers Ram Bilas Sharma, Anil Vij, Capt Abhimanyu, OP Dhankar, Manish Grover, besides senior party leaders Anil Jain, Ganeshi lal and State BJP chief Subhash Barala. Tarawati Devi served simple yet delicious vegetarian meal inspite of a short notice of two hours given to her, Ram Bilas Sharma told reporters later.

Only a few days back, Shah had lunch at the home of a Yadav worker in Uttar Pradesh. These visits to workers' homes are also being seen as an outreach to various sections.
