With an aim to give an industrial fillip, UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav launched the DMIC project in Uttar Pradesh saying this project would give employment to over 58,000 people by 2017.
“This Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) is the best thing that has happened to Uttar Pradesh. The intersection of two corridors at Dadri will not only open new avenues for industries but also give employment to over 58,000 youths,” Yadav said after laying foundation of the Integrated Industrial Township at Greater Noida under DMIC along with Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Anand Sharma.
