Adhikari gives call to oust Mamata Banerjee

In a bid to keep their army firm and fighting, both Trinamool Congress (TMC) general secretary Abhishek Banerjee and Bengal Opposition Leader Suvendu Adhikari on Monday told their supporters not to get complacent and “continue to fight till the game is won.” While Adhikari gave an “oust Mamata Banerjee” call from a rally at South 24 Parganas, Banerjee told a 10000-strong virtual meeting of his party workers to “fight till Mamata Banerjee returns to power for the fourth successive time.”

Adhikari said in his rally that there would be no Trinamool Congress left in Bengal after the 2026 Assembly elections, calling out for a “Badal (change) and Badla (revenge)” too. “We will not only settle after the Badal that is definitely going to come after the 2026 elections, but we will also go for the badla for all those atrocities that had been heaped on our people, all those attacks and bloodsheds,” Adhikari said, adding, “If there could be a change in Delhi after 27 years, there could be a change in Bengal too after 15 years.”

“If you want a badal, then be prepared for it because if there can take place a change in Delhi after 27 years, there can certainly be a change in Bengal after 15 years, and that change will take place in 2026, after which year there will be no TMC in Bengal. There will be no one to hold the flag for them,” because all the voters (read Bangladeshi infiltrators) of Mamata Banerjee were fleeing the country in hordes.

“See how the Bangladeshi voters of Mamata Banerjee are fleeing in hordes. Carbolic acid has been poured in the snake holes after the special intensive revision, and the snakes are fleeing,” Adhikari said, adding, “Remain prepared; we will throw out this Government in a few years from now.”

Abhishek Banerjee, on the other hand, told the meeting of party men to consider the 2026 elections a “battle that has to be won.” He said, “We will have to ensure that Mamata Banerjee returns to power in 2026, which she will do anyway, but there is no scope for complacency; we will rest only when the battle is won.”
