The Border Security Force (BSF) has recovered a suspected Pakistani fishing boat in the creek area of Arabian Sea off Koteshwar in Kutch district of Gujarat.
Interestingly the boat was found abandoned according to the official sources. This is the third such recovery of abandoned Pakistani boat in the past three months. The official sees something fishy in such repeated incidences in a short span of three months.
“The last such boat was found in the Sir Creek area on January 16 while another abandoned Pakistani boat was seized near Haraminala in December,” said an official, adding that they are trying to find the reason for abandoning the boats. They also added that abandoned boat was noticed during patrolling. There was no suspicious item inside the boat, said the sources.
According to BSF sources the patrolling along the Indo-Pak marine border has been intensified following the recovery of the boat.
