In a curious development seven migrant workers from Jhalda block of Bengal’s West Midnapore district cycled all the way back home from Bihar’s Samastipur district and took shelter on tree tops as the local villagers did not let them in.
“We cycled back home hungry and tired. But the villagers would not allow us in and they forced us to move back to Jharkhand. But we again sneaked back crossing a river and took shelter on tree tops.” However the local SDM said the seven workers were rescued and taken back to shelter homes.
