Infants’ death: Central team to visit bengal
New Delhi: Concerned over death of 13 infants at a Government hospital in West Bengal over last few days, Union Health Ministry is sending a team of experts there to ascertain facts. “We are concerned over these deaths and a team of experts will go there to assess the situation,” an official said.
Italy seeks speedy trial for marines
New Delhi: Italy’s Deputy Foreign Minister Staffan de Mistura has met External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid here seeking speedy trial for the two Italian marines who are facing trial for allegedly killing Indian fishermen. “Mistura reached Delhi on Monday and prior to Khurshid’s departure for Norway late last night,” External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin said.
