The number of COVID-19 cases in Indore district of Madhya Pradesh grew to 3,722 after 35 more people tested coronavirus positive in last 24 hours, an official said on Saturday.
The virus also claimed four more lives in the last four days, taking the death toll in the district to 153, he said.
The four new victims include a 75-year-old woman, the official said.
So far, 2,324 patients have been discharged from hospitals after recovery, he added.
Indore is one of the worst-hit districts in the country in terms of the number of coronavirus cases.
