These were put on hold becausecandidates who got rejectedfiled a court case claiming that their papers were not checked properly.

Some candidates had not filled in their details properly in Tier III exam, violating mandatory instructions and hence were given a zero. 'It is for the concerned user departments to expedite the issuance of appointment letters to the nominated candidates’.

The SSC declared the revised marks of the Tier-1 examination on January 11, 2017 whichwas held from August 4 to 24 across India. The results were earlier declared in October last year but due to some technical glitches, a few tentative answer keys were not revised. The commission undertook an all-inclusive analysis, which led to deplete in the cut off marks and hence revision of result.
