Hyderabad: Telugu actor Sai Durgha Tej, nephew of megastar Chiranjeevi, got engaged to Kiran at a private ceremony in Hyderabad on Thursday. The engagement took place in the presence of their parents and relatives at the Hilton Hyderabad Genome Valley Resort.
The wedding of Sai Durgha Tej and Kiran is scheduled to take place on December 10 in Hyderabad.
The actor’s engagement ceremony was attended by members of Chiranjeevi’s family, including Ram Charan, and the Allu family, including Allu Arjun, along with other close relatives. Film celebrities who attended the ceremony included Varun Tej and his wife Lavanya Tripathi, Niharika, Allu Sirish, Akira Nandan, Navdeep and a few others.
Many film personalities, including Ram Charan, and fans on social media wished the couple well as they prepared to begin a new chapter in their lives.
Sai Durgha Tej has so far acted in 16 films, including Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham, Subramanyam for Sale, Supreme, Virupaksha and Bro. His next film, Sambarala Yeti Gattu, is scheduled for release in 2027.
There is no publicly available information about the actor’s fiancée, Kiranmayi. Some reports have described her as the actor's childhood friend.
