Reports surrounding composer Anirudh Ravichander and Sunrisers Hyderabad CEO Kavya Maran have sparked a flurry of reactions online, with social media users adding a humorous twist to the wedding buzz. The latest memes draw a connection between the reported reception and Anirudh’s contribution to the blockbuster Jailer franchise.
While fans are keen to know more about the reported wedding developments, netizens have been busy imagining what the composer might receive next from the Sun Pictures family, given the success of the films. The jokes have turned the reported wedding buzz into a trending topic among cinema enthusiasts.
When Rajinikanth-starrer Jailer became a major box-office success in 2023, Sun Pictures reportedly gifted Anirudh a Porsche in recognition of his contribution to the film. His powerful background score and chart-topping tracks played a key role in creating the film’s signature mass appeal.
Now, with Jailer 2 reportedly performing strongly at the box office, social media users have taken the conversation in a more playful direction. Some memes jokingly suggest that producer Kalanithi Maran could offer his daughter Kavya Maran’s hand in marriage to Anirudh as an even bigger reward for the sequel’s success.
The posts are intended as humour and do not establish any confirmed connection between the reported wedding developments and the film’s performance.
The online banter does not stop at a Porsche or the wedding speculation. Some users have imagined an even more extravagant scenario, joking that Kalanithi Maran might hand over Sun Pictures itself to Anirudh if Jailer 3 turns out to be another blockbuster.
The memes have gained traction because of the timing of the wedding-related reports and the franchise’s reported box-office performance. By combining film industry success with speculation about the composer’s personal life, netizens have created a series of humorous takes that have caught the attention of fans.
However, the claims circulating in these memes remain jokes rather than verified developments.
Reports have suggested that November 21 could be the date of the wedding reception, further fuelling online discussion about Anirudh and Kavya Maran. However, the reported date and wedding developments have not been established as confirmed facts.
For now, the speculation has brought together followers of Tamil cinema and cricket, with the Jailer franchise becoming the centrepiece of the online humour.
As the memes continue to circulate, netizens are already joking about what Anirudh might receive if the franchise delivers another blockbuster. Whether the next imaginary reward is bigger than a Porsche or even includes an entire production house, the jokes have added a light-hearted dimension to the ongoing buzz surrounding the composer and the cricket executive.
