Hima Das’ gold medal at the World Under-20 championships was remarkable though it wasn’t surprising; she was the favourite going in. But it has been an exceptional achievement because it was the first gold in a track event for India, at senior or junior levels, on the world stage. And that surge in the last 100-metres was truly Coe-like. Thank you.
