A 20-year-old boy was killed while two other family members sustained critical injuries when they were attacked by more than ten men in Southeast Delhi's Pul Prahladpur area on Tuesday night. The deceased has been identified as Rahul while the injured have been identified as Tarachand and Ramji lal. Sources said the accused attacked the victim and his relatives to take revenge.
"The victim had filed a case of kidnapping against the accused party. Despite being told to withdraw, the victim did not withdraw the case. This seems to be one of the motives behind the attack," said a senior police officer Chinmoy Biswal, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Southeast).
