Woman relative among six robbers killed Bokadia, helps

Investigators have revealed that there were more than six people, including a mysterious woman, involved in the the grisly murder of 62-year-old businessman Bajrang lal Bokadia and his three employees.

It appears that the killers were not only known to the businessman but also had easy access to his single storey Vivek Vihar residence.

They suspect that she was with the attackers, whose modus operandi is similar to the one employed by Bangladeshi gangs active in the area.

It has now emerged that the killers had managed to loot cash and jewellery worth Rs 2 crore. Police is awaiting the post-mortem report of the four victims to ascertain whether they were sedated before being slayed.

It has now emerged that the two servants — cook Bhola Singh, 30, and domestic help Anand, 18 — were killed as Bokadia arrived with driver Vinod Dubey, 40. The killers, who were in the master bedroom, overwhelmed them and executed them as well.

The Crime Branch of Delhi Police has detained four people, including a woman, in connection with the murder of Bokadia and his three employees. The woman is incidentally the wife of Bokadia's nephew.

It seems the murderers were known to the victim since the bedroom was found ransacked. "As soon as arrests are made, the motive could be clearly established. Though robbery seems the main motive what with cash and valuables missing, this may well be a ruse to deflect attention," said a police official.

While police have not ruled out personal or business rivalry behind the murders, neighbours said given his amicable nature and the fact that he was not actively involved in business these days, it was unlikely that Bokadia had any rivals or enemies.
