Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has assured that he would work for a holistic dvelopment of railways in Odisha. He was holding discussions over various issues pertaining to railway projects in Odisha with State BJP MPs in New Delhi on Thursday. Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan was present along with MPs Jual Oram, Pratap Sarangi, Aparajita Sarangi, Sonal Mansingh, Sangeeta Singh Deo, Suresh Pujari, Basant Panda and Nitesh Ganga Deo.This meeting organised at the behest of Vaishnaw for his maiden visit to Odisha as the Minister on August 16. “We all will work collectively to expedite the works on all projects in Odisha one by one. Our aim is a holistic development of railways in the State,” Vaishnaw said. Odisha’s expectations have gone high after Vaishnaw, a Rajya Sabha member from the State, sought blessings of Lord Jagnnath for the service of Odisha soon after his induction into the Union Cabinet.
