'Upset' AAP Govt not spared the blushes by Tomar

Staff Reporter

Have suffered loss of face in former law Minister Jitender Singh Tomar’s fake degree row, an upset Aam Aadmi Party Government is mulling Tomar’s expulsion from the party for “misleading” the party and also forwarded his name to the party’s internal lokpal. AAP spokesperson Sanjay Singh and Dilip Pandey, while holding a Press conference said that while AAP is awaiting the court’s decision where the matter is pending, the party’s internal lokpal will now decide on Tomar’s expulsion or stay within the part.

The body comprises former IPS officer N Dilip Kumar, former DG CISF Rakesh Sinha and educationist SP Verma. “Our Internal lokpal will look into the matter and decide whether Tomar should stay or be expelled. Delhi Police had shown promptness in the entire issue, so we expect them to show equal agility in BJP leader’s case too,” said party leader Sanjay Singh.

On being asked whether the internal lokpal will also look after the matter of AAP MlA Karol Bagh Vishesh Ravi and AAP MlA from Cantonment Surender Singh (Commando), Singh said that they would look into the matter. Failing to justify Tomar’s fake degree row, AAP leadership said that they have found solid evidence against BJP Member of Parliament (MP) from Agra (UP), Ram Shankar Katheria and HRD Minister Smriti Irani.

Kejriwal & Co. also attacked Modi Government at the Centre for not digging up dirt on his own men, saying 30 per cent of Ministers in BJP face serious criminal charges but are being conveniently glossed over. Following the arrest of the 49-year-old, who is currently in Delhi Police remand and travelling to prove his testimony, cases of other AAP leaders having fake degree or misleading educational documents have also come to light.
