The three persons, including former Ranji player Manish Guddewar, who were arrested in connection IPl spot-fixing on Sunday, were remanded in police custody till May 24 by a Metropolitan Magistrate.
Seeking remand, the police had told the court that the accused have to be confronted with 14 persons — including cricketers Sreesanth, Ajit Chandila and Ankit Chavan —already arrested in the case.
"We have also to confront them with data seized from laptops recovered from various accused. At the instance of these accused persons, we have to recover more evidence and have also to make more arrests," the police told the court.
Sreesanth and two of his teammates from Rajasthan Royals, along with 11 others, have been remanded in police custody till May 21.
