Tiwari seeks CM's resignation

Staff Reporter

Demanding the resignation of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal over the alleged manhandling of the Delhi Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash by a few ruling AAP MlAs, Delhi BJP unit chief Manoj Tiwari termed it as "an act of Urban Naxalism".

"ArvindKejriwal and his Goon MlAs misbehaved and threatened the Chief secretary of NCT Delhi Government last night...  Another shameful act of @AamAadmiParty Goons... An act of Urban Naxalism... #UrbanNaxaliteKejriwal must Resign (sic)," he tweeted.

While protesting outside the  Chief Minister's residence,  a senior BJP leader claimed that in total, nine AAP MlAs were present at the Chief Minister's residence when Prakash was assaulted. "They represent the people of Delhi but are nothing short of urban Naxalites. How utterly disgusting behaviour!," he said.

Meanwhile, the leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly (loP) Vijendra Gupta alleged Kejriwal "in his dictatorial style" called the Chief Secretary at midnight on Monday and "berated" him in front of his MlAs, an allegation, the AAP said was "ludicrous".

"Drunk on power CM (Chief Minister) was concerned about why more funds were not dispersed for advertisements. Such is the state of affairs under AAP," Gupta tweeted."In total, nine AAP MlAs were present at the CM's residence when the Chief Secretary was assaulted. They represent people of Delhi but are nothing short of urban naxalites. How utterly disgusting behaviour!" he said. General Secretary Kuljeet Singh Chahal said by allowing his MlA to assault the Chief Secretary, the CM  has lost all moral authority to remain in office. He should either order arrest and expulsion from the Delhi Assembly of MlA Amanutullah Khan or be prepared to face wrath of people of Delhi very soon.

Another BJP senior leader  Jai Prakash said people of Delhi with great hopes elected Kejriwal Government and today they feel cheated.

Rajiv Babbar said Baba Saheb Ambedkar gave us a Constitution which clearly tells of duties of elected representatives and officials and Kejriwal Government has today insulted the constitutional provisions.
