Three persons of a family, including a senior citizen couple were stabbed to death in their house in north Delhi’s Sarai Rohilla area on Friday evening. Their bodies were spotted by a neighbour, who informed the police.
A case of murder has been registered at Sarai Rohilla police station. Police suspect a personal enmity behind the killing but they have not ruled out the other angles.
The deceased have been identified as Chandu lal (70), Gullu Devi (65) and their son Rakesh (30) were found dead inside their residence located at Sarai Basti in Sarai Rohilla area. Their bodies, in pool of blood were spotted by a neighbour.
There were multiple injury marks on their neck and other parts of the body.
The bodies have been sent for the post mortem examination at Subji Mandi Mortuary.
Police was trying to ascertain the reason of the killing. They have not ruled out the possibility of personal enmity but they were investigating the case from all possible angles.
