Accusing the Supreme Court Appointed Monitoring Committee of ‘wrongly’ sealing of properties under the municipal Corporation, South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) claimed to have de-sealed 173 properties in the south zone and 12 properties in the west zone and said that the process will be continued.
A senior SDMC official said that the de-sealing process will also start in central and Najafgarh zone from Wednesday. However, the civic body did not provide any particular areas where the process of de- sealing was carried out.
“Some properties under the jurisdiction of SDMC were wrongly sealed by the Monitoring Committee under the orders of the Supreme Court. Such 604 properties will be de-sealed under this process,” the South Corporation said in a statement.
