With the population of Noida increasing by two lakh every year, Noida police have proposed six new police stations that are expected to open along major Noida’s key roads to cover residential, intuitional and industrial sectors and communally sensitive places.
The district police have also demanded from the State Government to increase the number of cops in the city.

The district police has sent a proposal to the Uttar Pradesh Government to issue notification for these new police stations.
Noida Superintendent of Police Dinesh Yadav said that the proposal has been sent to the State Government. The district police has written to the Government to grant additional forces in the city. “Each year, the city population is increasing by 2 lakh. The new home buyers have registered their homes in developing sectors. They would have started living in their flats soon. There is an immediate need to provide security in these regions to maintain law and order,” said Yadav.
