Sales Tax Bar Association on Monday filed a petition before the Delhi High Court highlighting several glitches on the portal (software) of the Goods and Services Tax. The president of the Association, Sudhir Sangal, said that these glitches are making things extremely difficult for the consultants to comply with the provisions of GST. Sangal further said that the system is not taking forward the credit of old taxes by not providing for the required forms. "The form and manner of filing the return, and the process of registration is absolutely faulty," he added. "This petition is not only going to fetch the outcomes in favour of the petitioner or association but is going to get a relief to the entire trade and professional fraternity a whole," he said.
