A day after the AAP demanded a CBI probe into the “pension scam”, Municipal Councilor Shobha Vijender, wife of leader of Opposition Vijendra Gupta, said that she had recommended the pension for the 72-year-old differently-abled Sikh woman Harbhajan Kaur on humanitarian grounds.
She said that despite return of the pension of Rs 6,000 received by her on letter from Central Information Commission, she is being ridiculed. If there is any doubt, Dilip Pandey should go to investigative agencies or courts instead of “mentally torturing” the woman and her family, she added.
