A 20-year-old man has allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a high tension electric tower in Gurugram. Police recovered his body on Wednesday morning from Sector-38 after passer-by informed them. The deceased has been identified as Tinku, a resident of Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh. He used to work as a helper in a private bus.
His brother Rinku told the police in his statement that Tinku was under psychological stress due to an unknown reason. He didn’t share his problems with the family members.
The driver of the bus in which Tinku worked informed the deceased’s brothers that he had ferried the staff of a private hospital from Faridabad to a hospital in Sector-38. After this, Tinku went somewhere without telling him.
later, when he came to know that his helper had committed suicide by hanging himself at the green belt of Sector-38, he informed the victim’s family members.
“We have recovered the body and after the autopsy, the body was handed over to the family. We have also recorded family’s statement and there was no foul play in the case,” Assistant Sub-Inspector Fateh Singh, the investigating officer of the case, said.
