At least 523 fresh cases of Covid-19 were recorded in the national Capital on Friday while the positivity rate stood at 0.68 per cent.
According to data shared by the health department 50 fatalities were also reported on Friday, taking the toll to 24,497 till now. This is the fourth-consecutive day that the positivity rate was recorded at below one per cent in the national Capital.
As per the health bulletin, 1,161 people have recovered from the infection in the last 24 hours, it said.
The health bulletin also shows that the number of active cases stands at 8,060, of which 3,813 are in home isolation.
On Thursday, Delhi had recorded 487 Covid-19 cases, the lowest daily count in over two-and-a-half months and 45 fatalities.
