Delhi Congress president Sheila Dikshit termed BJP’s manifesto a full of hollow promises and false claims without having any substance that would be beneficial to the people.
Dikshit said that people of the country have now fully understood Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s falsehood and his bundle of lies. “The voters have now lost all faith in him as their trust has been shattered. Modi Government could not fulfil even a single promise and betrayed the people,” she said.
She said that no one would believe in a single promise made by the BJP in its manifesto for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections as the report card of the Modi Government in the last five years has been a big zero.
“The BJP manifesto cannot come anywhere near the Congress manifesto “Ham Nibhayenge” (We will deliver) as the we promised various schemes to address the problems of the poor, farmers, labour, women, unemployment, traders and small and medium level businessmen.
Meanwhile, some of the leaders from other political parties joined the Congress party at a function held at the DPCC office at Rajiv Bhawan. Some of the leaders are
Haji Abdul Sami Salmani, national president of Indian Backward Conference, BSP leader and former Councillor Anand Kumar Gautam, General Secretary of Swaraj India party Mohd Shahid Siddiqui, AAP general secretary Ansari Biradari, Haaji Isham Malik and Hafiz Ahmed Ebadi.
