Panicked over the order of Allahabad High Court, flat buyers have started thronging the offices of various projects in Noida and Greater Noida demanding a copy of original registry papers and other certificates from the builders.
They are feeling insecure about their investment after the recent fiasco, have started enquiring about the proper authorisation of their projects, safety of towers and fulfilment of required norms before possession. Investors have also started raising queries about the safety of the under-construction towers since several builders flouted building plan. “The entire exercise of builders is to earn more money. They have forgotten the buyers’ interest and the Noida Authority is also silent over their monopoly. Irregularity is being found in almost all projects in the area,” said Anu Khan, a buyer of a project in Noida.
