In September, one Rinku allegedly lured her to come to Delhi and they stayed in Bawana area for 10 days after which he left her. later on, she was found by police and sent to the Ashraya Family Home on September 17. Due to the fear of social stigma she had not revealed her details before, she said,” Ravindra Yadav, Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime Branch).

Subsequently, a team lead by DCP Dinesh Kumar Gupta was able to trace the parents and was rushed to ludhiana. The police station concerned was intimated about the same as well.
