In order to ease vehicular movement around congested Kirbi Place road in South-west Delhi, the Delhi Traffic
Police has prepared a one-way plan to decongest the area for commuters especially motorists during the peak hours.
“There is heavy congestion at and around Kirbi Place especially during the peak hours and the motorists have to wait a long to pass through the Kirbi Place Chowk and adjoining intersections. According to officials, the one-way scheme will happen during peak hours. The one-way stretch will open from 8 am till 11 am and 5 pm to 8 pm.
Requesting the motorists to cooperate with the traffic police in its initiative to make it successful, said, the stretches such as Station Road from Kirbi Place Chowk to Thimmaiya Marg intersections will have one-way flow of traffic during the said timings.
The other stretches are Thimmaiya Marg from Station Road to roundabout Gopinath Bazar and Dr Amberdkar Marg from R/o Gopinath Bazar to Sadar Bazar Road.
Further, the one-way traffic will continue from Sadar Bazar Road from Red Light Point near Delhi Cantonment Police Station to Kirbi Place Chowk.
