It has not been one of the best admission seasons for Jesus and Mary College this year as only a little over 7,500 students have applied for 2,400 seats of the college. According to the data by JMC officials, a total of 7,774 students have applied for various courses in the college. While this number appears lesser than previous years, college authorities said that the difference was not much. However, the statistics of this year stated that English is the most popular course in JMC. An official from the principal’s office said, “Total 5,421 applications were received for English (H) and similarly for Economics and BCom Honours. While 3,788 students applied for Economics (H), 3,783 applied for BCom (H). Political Science (H) also got 3,003 applications.” The cutoffs will be released to university on June 24.
