Scores of people across the country, including the national Capital will have another opportunity to interact with BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi on Saturday. Modi, who will be in Delhi on March 8, International Women’s Day, will hold Chai Pe Charcha at 4 pm from the BJP headquarters at Ashoka Road. In Delhi, people will be able to interact with Modi through video conferencing at 81 locations in various parts of the city. Delhi BJP chief Dr Harsh Vardhan said all 70 Assembly constituencies in Delhi have been included in the programme.

According to the BJP, women empowerment will be the topic of discussion since the day will be celebrated as the Women’s Day worldwide. The first Chai Pe Charcha  from Ahmedabad on February 12 focussed on good governance. The exercise aims at connecting to people; understand the issues concerning them and suggest a viable solution as part of the BJP’s campaign for the upcoming lok Sabha polls. During the discussion, people can also participate through social networking sites — Facebook and Twitter — if they fail to visit a tea stall. Vardhan said senior BJP leaders in Delhi and other cities will be present at various tea stalls and interact with the local populace. Some of the areas in Delhi include Vasant Vihar, Munirka, Kalkaji, lodhi Road, Jor Bagh, Jangpura, Saket, Vasant Kunj, laxmi Nagar, Mayur Vihar, Seelampur and Narela, among others.
