A 17-year-old student was allegedly gangraped by her two music teachers and two of their friends in a music coaching center in Kasna area of Greater Noida.
Police said the incident reportedly took place on June 12 around 8 pm as minorreached ‘Education Point Institute’ for learning music in Gamma-sector of Kasna. Victim told police that she wanted to learn singing and had joined music coaching conducted by Prafool three months ago.
Victim alleged that her teachers called her inside the classroom to start music session, but there were no other students in the class. She was alone and waiting for other students. She alleged that teachers Prafool and Saradh Gupta then raped her.
“They threatened me of dire consequence if I shared the incident with either police or my family. I returned home but did not inform my family about the incident. After some days, I was having pain in my abdomen and then shared the ordeal with my parents.” victim told police in her complaint.
The police team immediately swung into action and started investigation. Police have registered a case of gang-rape under Section 376 D of IPC and POCSO Act against accused identified as Prafool of Banaras, Saradh Gupta, Mohit Jain and another person who is still to be identified.
