A 13-year-old boy was smothered to death after being abducted by his neighbours from outside his residence in Burari area of North Delhi.The abductors demanded a ransom of Rs 40 lakh from the boy's father, reportedly a real estate dealer.
Jatin Dhingra was picked by abductors on Saturday at 12.30 pm from outside his house. The minor was asphyxiated two hours later. His body was later dumped in a sewer, police said. The three accused neighbours — Sandip, Mahesh and Sunny — have been apprehended by Burari police.
