Dentist couple Rajesh and Nupur Talwar on Monday evening walked out of Dasna Jail here after the Allahabad High Court verdict, acquitting them of the murder of their 14-year-old daughter Aarushi and domestic help Hemraj.

Police escorted the couple to Nupur’s parents’ house in Noida’s Jalvayu Vihar, the same locality where they stayed when their daughter and their domestic help were murdered in 2008.

There was utter chaos on the road outside the jail with media persons scrambling to capture the Talwar couple walking out. Police force was deployed to keep away the dentist couple from media glares for which they requested the jail authorities. They had apprehended that much media glare goes against them, therefore they need a safe passage added jail official.

The couple left for Noida and thanked the jail authorities for their cooperative attitude towards them. "The dentist couple assured the jail inmates to treat them fortnightly", said Superintendent of Dasna Jail BR Maurya.

Tanveer Ahmad Mir, the lawyers of Talwar said that truth wins over the evil for which he was committed to support  Talwars  through thick and thin. "A conspiracy had been hatched to implicate our clients," said the couple's lawyer Tanveer Ahmed Mir after their release, which comes just two days ahead of Diwali. He added that the prosecution presented wrong evidence and requested the media to "let them live in peace".

The Allahabad High Court in its October 12 verdict said neither the circumstances nor the evidence were enough to hold them guilty.

Earlier the CBI trial court issued the release order after lawyer Satyaketu Singh submitted the certified copy of the Allahabad High Court judgment before the CBI judge Rajesh Chaudhary. The documents were verified by the court and the release order was issued at 3.30 p.m.

Aarushi Talwar was found dead in her bedroom in the Talwars' Noida home on May 16, 2008. Hemraj's body was found the next day from his room on the terrace.
