A 22-year-old Manipuri woman was found dead under mysterious circumstances in a rented accommodation in South Delhi’s Vasant Vihar on Thursday, police said. Aben Sofia was found frothing at the mouth by her room mate around 11.30 am when she tried to wake her up. Sofia, who came to Delhi a week back, was staying with her cousins in their rented pad in South Delhi. “We received a call from Sofia’s partner that her roommate was found dead in her bed,” said Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police PS Kushwaha. “It seems to be a case of either suicide or food poisoning,” he said. While the police are ruling out foul play, the body has been sent for a post-mortem examination and the room partner is being questioned.
