Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit on Wednesday directed the authorities to maintain cleanliness around temples and provide appropriate water and power supply in the colonies in wake of Navratra festival.
She has asked the Chief Secretary DM Spolia to contact three MCD commissioners and CEOs of Discoms and DJB to take action in this regard and ensure that there is no scarcity in the basic amenities.
She also stressed upon the need of proper sanitation and cleanliness regularly. Parliamentary Secretary to CM Mukesh Sharma stated that the Chief Minister has asked the Chief Secretary to ensure that there is no slackness in providing basic amenities during Navratra. SR
