Delhi Lieutenant Governor, Anil Baijal on Thursday transferred four Indian Police Services (IPS) and three Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Island Police Service (DANIPS) officers to new postings in the national Capital.
According to a letter issued by the L-G office on August 5, the IPS 2005 batch, Rajneesh Gupta who was posted as Additional Commissioner of Police at Police Technology Cell has now given the charge of Additional CP, GA.
“The IPS 2007 batch, Romil Baaniya has been appointed as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to Delhi Police Commissioner while IPS 2008 batch, Ajay Krishan Sharma has been transferred to 4th Battalion, DAP. The IPS 2008 batch, Sanjay Tyagi has been given the charge of Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Security,” stated the order.
“K P S Malhotra (DANIPS- 2009) has been appointed as DCP-I, CP Secretariat while Dhal Singh Patle (DANIPS-2010) has been given the charge of DCP-II, CP Secretariat. Tarun Sharma (DANIPS-2013) has been appointed as Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), CP Secretariat,” the order further stated.
