Daily commuters dependent on autorickshaws will face major hassles for several hours on Friday as the city’s unions will be joining the Mahasabha, which will addressed by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. The CM will address auto drivers, who played an important role in the AAP’s electoral success in Burari and will also hear their grievances.

“The auto drivers of Delhi stood by Aam Aadmi Party when very few believed that we could actually win more than a handful of seats, let alone form the government. Now, Kejriwal will address a Mahasabha of Auto drivers in Burari,” the party said in a post on Facebook.

In the meeting, the Chief Minister is expected to hear the greivances of auto drivers, who played a major role in the party’s success in the elections by putting up party’s posters on their vehicles during the campaign. “In this Mahasabha their problems will be listened to and the Government will try to finalise measures for helping auto drivers earn a honest living while keeping consumer benefits also in mind,” the post read.
