Kejriwal to visit poll-bound Goa today

Staff Reporter

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will leave for Goa on Saturday, on his third visit in last four months, to bolster Aaam Admi Party’s prospect in the western India State going to polls next year.

The AAP sources said Kejriwal is expected to return to the national Capital on Monday.

“The thrust will be on interacting with the people of the State during his visit,” said a party leader. The AAP has been trying hard to make inroads into the BJP-ruled State.

After returning from Vipasana, Kejriwal has given Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia charge of Goa. Sisodia would be assisted by Health Minister Satyendra Jain. It is noted that Jain had visited Goa two times in June. Delhi Water Minister Kapil Mishra and Ashutosh would be in-charge of the campaign in Gujarat.
