After a humiliating defeat in the bypolls on Thursday, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) member Jarnail Singh, who quit as Rajouri Garden MlA to contest the Punjab Assembly polls, on Thursday said the party needs to conduct an honest introspection after its bypoll loss.
“Winning or losing is part of electoral politics, but the party needs a deep and honest introspection. A party fights collectively and victory or defeat is a collective responsibility,” he said.
His comments came after Deputy CM Manish Sisodia acknowledged that people were upset with the AAP over Singh quitting to contest against the Shiromani Akali Dal chief Parkash Singh Badal in the Punjab Assembly elections.
