“Prisoners lodged in Nabha jail are not scared of the jail superintendents, they roam freely in the entire jail area and do not follow any rules and regulations. Prisoners stay in any cell they want to,” said Mintu to Delhi police.

Delhi police further quoted Mintu saying that the prisoners can access mobile network inside the jail premises despite there being a jammer installed.

“The jail staff are scared of the prisoners as most of them have sound political contacts,” the police quoted Mintu in the 22-page chargesheet filed on Monday.

The police filed the chargesheet before the court of Additional Sessions judge Sidharth Sharma. The court is yet to take cognizance of the chargesheet.

The police chargesheet further reads that in 2007 Mintu went to lahore where he met Ranjeet Singh Nitta, chief of Khalistan Jindabad Force. Mintu then went back to Mumbai and arranged for 120 kg dynamite, which was later allegedly used in the attack on Ram Rahim's Ashram in Haryana. Nitta also introduced Mintu to ISI agents.

Delhi police also stated in the chargesheet that he was also in touch with KlF terrorists living abroad and also traveled to many countries to develop his contacts with ISI and KlF terrorists.
