Two days after the brutal murder of seven-year-old Pradyuman Thakur on Ryan International School campus here, the victim's parents urged the State Government on Sunday to initiate a parallel CBI investigation into the matter.
"Police are doing their job. They had arrested the bus conductor but as of now, they have not arrested the real accused in the murder of my son. We are not satisfied with police theory of the entire matter so we need a CBI probe. Only then we will be satisfied. The agency will surely arrest the real accused," Praduyman's father Varun Thakur said.
"I am not able to decide should I sent my daughter to the school or not. The school administration must take responsibility of my son's murder," he said.
Meanwhile, former Chief Minister of Haryana Bhupinder Sing Hooda also met with the victim's family on Sunday.
"The BJP Government is an inexperienced Government. They want to run the Government on their own rules which are not possible. The Government should conduct a fair investigation into the matter by the CBI and appropriate actions should be taken against the guilty," Hooda said.
Varun told Hooda that how it is possible that the crime took place within 15 minutes and why didn't school management tell him about the serious condition of their kid. "The actual culprit behind the crime was someone else. It was a well-planned murder. I need justice for my innocent son," Varun said.
