Demanding registration of FIR against AAP leaders, senior BJP leader Vijay Kumar Malhotra also said that the sting operation involving leaders and candidates of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the run-up to the Delhi Assembly elections has thoroughly exposed the party. Malhotra further said that the AAP now stands discredited following the operation and the letter from anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare.
Demanding legal action against the accused members, Malhotra said, “The police should immediately file FIR against them. People have seen through the game of Arvind Kejriwal and his so-called honest candidates. The events have proved that the AAP is the most dishonest party in the Capital.”
Besides, he also alleged that the volunteers of the AAP are in fact ‘regular employees’ of the party getting `20,000 per month as a salary.
“It is obvious that in the last five or six months, the party has spent `6 crore to `7 crore on these so-called volunteers. It should also be looked into whether their foreign funding is being sent through Hawala,” Malhotra said.
