Charged with inaction against the illegal construction on Janta flats in Rohini, Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) of Government of NCT of Delhi has arrested an assistant engineer, junior engineer and beldar of North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NMC).
According to Additional Commissioner of Police (ACB) Surender Singh Yadav, the arrested officials were accused of not taking any action against the illegal construction on Janta flats in Sectors 15 and 16 in Rohini and thereby allowing construction on second and third floors whereas only ground and first floor are allowed by the authority.
A case regarding abuse of power by Government officials in connivance with builders and private persons has been registered against assistant engineer Jagat Bhushan Meena (Building/Rohini Zone), junior engineer Sunil Kumar Paharia (Building/Rohini Zone) and beldar Dhananjaya Kumar (Works/Rohini Zone).
