The Director General of Police (DGP) Uttar Pradesh OP Singh inaugurated a forensic laboratory in Niwari town of Ghaziabad.
Speaking on this occasion, the DGP said after launching this lab, the State is now equipped with 5 forensic labs after Lucknow, Agra, Varanasi and Moradabad. "It will enable the police to expedite the cases fast. It is 9 storied lab being constructed with Rs 64 crore, it will conduct 16 types of forensic tests," he said.
